Meet the club and your officers!

President - Candace Larson
Hey guys! My name is Candace Larson and I am the current President and Founder of the One for One Club! I am a Graphic Design major and a Peace Studies minor. I am really passionate about the One for One Movement and what TOMS does. I am a huge fan of their shoes and clothing and that they are a big part of the community while still giving back. I think that a lot of companies should take up a similar concept of giving to make them a truly successful company. I will work for TOMS’ in-house creative team one day and be able to spread the movement even farther. There’s no stopping me :)
 

Vice President - Aileen Yoon
Hi everyone!  My name is Aileen, and I am currently a sophomore public relations/advertising major.  I have always been a strong supporter of the TOMS movement, and by joining the One for One club, I hope to make a difference in our community by embodying the TOMS vision.  I love being able to give back, and hopefully our club will be able to grow and be able to take on larger missions that support the one for one movement.

Secretary - Sabrina Davis
Hello!  I’m Sabrina and I’m the Secretary for One for One. I’m a Senior at Chapman and a Graphic Design major.  To me, the One for One movement at Chapman is going to be an avenue for me to be able to make a difference in other’s lives. While I am frequently involved in on-campus philanthropy projects, One for One will be a more personal way for me to devote my time to a cause that means something to me and the surrounding school community. So get excited to become a part of the One for One movement, it’s going to be great! 

Treasurer - Kristin Soo Hoo
Hi! I’m Kristin, the treasurer of the One for One Club. I’m a Junior at Chapman with a public relations/advertising major and business minor. By joining the One for One Movement, I believe that I can make a difference in children’s lives starting with the local community. I can’t wait to get involved with a group of individuals that shares the same enthusiasm for founding a new club at Chapman and making a difference.

Hey Guys! So we are Chapman University’s One for One Club, located in Orange, CA. We have just begun our adventures to spread the word on our campus and help others spread the word even farther. Our club is based around the TOMS One for One Movement, giving to those in need. We are working directly with TOMS for events as well as doing our own thing and helping the surrounding schools with much-needed school supplies. As our club expands, we want to be able to give even more supplies to nursing homes and the military. Please help us and support the movement by following us here on tumblr. Also, if you’re close to or in Orange County, feel free to come to any of our events! Right now, we are in the process of planning “Start Something that Matters”. This is an event to introduce Blake Mycoskie’s book, fundraise for our club to begin the cycle of giving, and to introduce us onto campus. It will be from 5:30-8:30 on NOVEMBER 30TH 2011 in our Student Union, Argyros Forum. We will be raffling off TSHIRTS, TOTES, AND SIGNED BOOKS! Raffle tickets are only ONE DOLLAR and will be sold at tabling the two previous weeks and also at the event. There will be FOOD! We will also have Chapman artists there to STYLE YOUR SOLES. So bring your TOMS and your friends and help us make this an amazing event!
